FounderLevel · The AI-native founder coach

What got you here won’t run what’s coming.

You built a real company — seven figures, a team, customers who’d notice if it vanished. You built it on hustle, judgment, and being in every decision. AI is resetting that math: founders who adapt are starting to run companies your size on half the structure. I coach that shift, with the systems I run every week inside my own 7-figure business.

The exact AI systems that run Castos without me — prompts, context docs, and decision rules.

01 The receipts

Coached from inside a real company, not from a stage.

Every system I teach ran in my own business the same week I taught it. When something flops, you hear about that too.

02 Why now

This isn’t another software cycle.

Every company your size is about to get re-priced — not by the market, by its own cost structure. AI-native businesses simply spend less to do the same work: fewer hours, fewer hand-offs, fewer hires whose whole job is moving information between people.

That math compounds. An AI-native competitor doesn’t beat you in a quarter. They under-price you, out-ship you, and out-margin you for five years straight.

The founders who move first get the inverse: growth without the usual layers of hires, margins that buy real options, a company that gets easier to run as it grows. That window is open right now — and it rewards operators, not early adopters.

Because here’s the uncomfortable part: the thing that built your company — you, in every decision — is exactly what won’t survive this. Not because it stopped working. Because it doesn’t scale against systems that work while you sleep.

03 The problem

Everything still routes through you.

Not because your team is weak. Because the company’s operating system lives in your head — and you’re the only one running it.

  • 01 The team executes, but only you decide. Every real call waits on your calendar.
  • 02 You hired help — and somehow got busier.
  • 03 Delegation keeps failing, because the knowledge lives in you, not in systems.
  • 04 You know AI matters. You bought the tools. Your team opened them twice.
  • 05 Growth flattened — not because demand dried up, but because you ran out of hours.
  • 06 And underneath it all, the quiet worry: AI is going to matter enormously, and you are not actually ready.

None of this is a tooling problem. It’s an operating problem — and operating problems have fixes.

04 The reframe

The tooling was never the problem. The operator is.

I spent months building AI agents — and teaching founders to build their own. The builds went fine. The demos were genuinely impressive.

And almost none of it changed how anyone ran their company.

Here’s what that taught me: AI doesn’t stick in a business until the founder changes how they run it. The hard part isn’t the model. It’s writing down how work actually moves through your company, deciding what only you should decide, and handing the rest to systems — human or AI — that don’t need you in the loop.

That’s operating work. It’s the work I coach. And it’s the kind you’re already qualified to do.

05 How this works

No funnel theater. A path.

Everything starts free, and the next step is always obvious.

  1. 01

    Start with the 5 systems

The free playbook below — the exact AI systems that run sales research, support, content, and my weekly review at Castos. Pick one, set it up this week.

  2. 02

    One idea a week

A weekly email and YouTube deep dive. One founder problem, what I did about it in my own company, real numbers. No daily drip, no hype.

  3. 03

    A free live masterclass, monthly

One problem taught properly, then workshopped live on real businesses. Free, permanently — it’s where you decide if my thinking holds up.

  4. 04

    When it fits: the cohort

A small group of $1M–$3M founders rebuilding how their companies run. Entry is a conversation, not a checkout page.

06 Who’s coaching

I run the company I coach from.

I’m Craig Hewitt. For eight years I’ve bootstrapped Castos, a podcast hosting SaaS, to seven figures in annual revenue. No venture money, a remote team, and — for most of those years — me in the middle of everything.

That was the real constraint. Not the market, not the team. Me. Fixing it took two things: operating discipline that founders have used forever, and an AI layer that finally makes the leverage real. Today the business runs on about ten hours of my week.

I coach founder/CEOs of $1M–$3M companies through the same shift — from the operator everything waits on, to the owner of a business that runs without them. AI shows up constantly in the how. It’s never the point.

07 Who it’s for

This works for a specific kind of founder.

I’d rather you self-select out here than find out on a call.

This is for you if

  • You’re the founder/CEO of a bootstrapped company doing $1M–$3M.
  • You have a team of 5–50 — and too much still waits on you.
  • You’ve tried AI tools. Nothing stuck past the demo.
  • You believe AI will change how companies like yours operate — and you don’t plan to be late.
  • You’re willing to change how you operate, not just what you buy.

This is not for you if

  • You’re pre-revenue, or running a solo business with no team.
  • You’re hunting for prompt lists, model news, or agent build-alongs.
  • You’re $5M+ with a full exec team — group coaching isn’t your bottleneck.
  • You want done-for-you implementation. This is operator work, with coaching.
